Fire breaks out at Durodine Industries in Jinkalawada
Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at Durodine Industries in Jinkalawada, Sanathnagar. However, there were no casualties.
The fire broke out at 3:30 AM, prompting a swift response from the fire department.
According to officials, the fire originated in the packing godown of the unit, which stored plastic plates and dinner sets. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
āThe flames spread rapidly due to the nature of the stored materials,ā said a fire department official at the scene.
Emergency Response in Progress
A total of six fire engines were deployed to the location, along with a firefighting robot, to assist in controlling and dousing the fire.
āOur teams have been working since early morning to bring the fire under control. A firefighting robot has also been used to access difficult areas inside the unit,ā the official added.
No Casualties Reported
As of now, no injuries or casualties have been reported. Officials stated that the fire was largely confined to the storage area.
The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns in industrial zones with flammable materials. Further investigation is underway to determine the cause and assess damage.
