Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at Sri Nani Cars Consultant in Sri Nagar Colony causing extensive damage to the establishment.
Around 16-20 vehicles were damaged in the incident. The loss is estimated to be at Rs one crore.
District Fire Officer Srinivas Reddy said the department received the distress call at approximately 4 a.m. In response. Two fire tenders were rushed to the scene.
Firefighters managed to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading further and potentially endangering nearby residents. Their action prevented any significant smoke-related health risks in the vicinity.
Jubilee Hills police arrived at the scene along with forensic teams for investigation. Police said a case is set to be registered based on the complaint lodged by the proprietor of Second-hand Sri Nani Cars Consultant.
