Hyderabad horror: Husband brutally kills wife; cooks her body parts before dumping them in Meerpet Lake
When police began the investigation, they became suspicious of her husband

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old former soldier brutally killed his 35-year-old wife, allegedly chopped her body, and cooked its parts in a pressure cooker before dumping them in Meerpet Lake.
Identified as Guru Murthy of Andhra Pradesh, he is currently employed as a security guard with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The deceased Venkata Madhavi, 35, was reported missing by the family members on January 18. According to her family members, the couple had a fight before she went missing.
When police began the investigation, they became suspicious of her husband. Upon questioning him, the man confessed to the crime.
According to the police, the man chopped the body in the bathroom and boiled the parts in a pressure cooker. He then separated the bones, ground them using a pestle, and boiled them again.
Reports said, after multiple rounds of cooking flesh and bones for three days, the man reportedly packed and dumped them into Meerpet Lake.
Police have arrested Murthy, and have deployed teams to find the traces of her mortal remains.
