Hyderabad: Police have registered a case against two women masquerading as spa therapists for taking explicit pictures and blackmailing a 54-year-old man in Hyderabad.

Sanath Nagar police have registered a case under Sections 342 (wrongful confinement), 384 (extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation) r/w 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are currently investigating the matter.

According to the police, Chavva Sathish Kumar had met a woman named Rani, who introduced herself as a therapist. Rani provided Kumar with a mobile number, claiming it belonged to a person named Raja Laxmi, also known as Anitha. Kumar contacted Raja Laxmi, who then shared her location. Upon arriving at the specified house in Bharathnagar, Kumar found two women who identified themselves as Raja Laxmi and Geetha, also known as Rajini.

Kumar realized that the establishment was not a genuine spa and attempted to leave. However, the two women allegedly forcibly restrained him, threatened him with sexual acts, and took explicit photos and videos of him without his consent. Despite Kumar's pleas, citing his heart condition, the women proceeded with their actions.

Later, Geetha contacted Kumar and demanded Rs. 20,000, threatening to share the explicit materials on social media if he did not comply. Fearing the repercussions, Kumar paid the amount. Shortly after, Raja Laxmi demanded Rs. 30 lakhs from Kumar, threatening to share the photos and videos with his family and on social media if he did not pay up. Kumar, fearing for his safety, complied with the demand.

Kumar has requested the police to take necessary action and save him from the ordeal.
