Hyderabad: I-T opens 24x7 control room to curb black money usage during polls

Hyderabad: The Income Tax Department in Hyderabad has set up a 24x7 control room to monitor and curb the misuse of illegal cash/jewellery for the upcoming State Legislative Assembly and General Elections.

The citizens can register their complaints or provide information via phone calls, WhatsApp and email.

The schedule for Lok Sabha General Elections, 2024, has been announced and the election process has begun across the country. The I-T Department has set up a control room to monitor and curb the misuse of illegal cash/jewellery during Lok Sabha elections in the State of Telangana. The control room will be functioning 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Citizens can provide information on cash/jewellery being stored/transported/being distributed for election purposes. The following contact numbers, emails or addresses may be used for providing such information for any of the districts in Telangana State.
