KGF actor Shobhitha Shivanna dies by suicide in Hyderabad 

Hyderabad: Popular Kannada actor Shobhitha Shivanna ended her life at her residential flat in Sriram Nagar Colony, C-Block, Kondapur under strange circumstances.

The preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Shobitha does not have any disputes with her husband Sudheer. They also recovered a suicide letter from her flat in which it was written "Everything is fine. If you want die you can do it."

Police have recorded statements from her family, friends, and neighbors to ascertain the sequence of events before her death. They launched a detailed investigation to ascertain reason for the extreme step taken by Shobhitha.

Hailing from Sakleshpur in Karnatakaā€™s Hassan district, the 29-year-old actor married Sudheer last year after coming across his profile from a matrimony site. Later she stepped away from the entertainment industry and had been residing with her husband in Hyderabad.

Shobhita began her acting journey in 2015 with the Kannada film RangiTaranga. She has worked in several popular Kannada films, including U-Turn, K.G.F: Chapter 1, K.G.F: Chapter 2, Eradondla Mooru, ATM: Attempt to Murder, and Vandana.

She also acted in TV serials such as Gaalipata, Mangala Gowri, Kogile, Brahmagantu, Krishna Rukmini,

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and found Shobhitha Shivanna lying dead in her bedroom.

The deceased was shifted to a mortuary at Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem. Shobhita's mortal remains would be taken to Bangalore. The exact reason behind her tragic death is not yet known, the police said

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, the police said.
