Hyderabad: Little Flower School Class 9 student sexually assaults standard III student; expelled
The principal called a meeting with both students' parents and expelled the ninth-grade student

The seven-year-old victim informed her mother about the assault, leading to an immediate response from the school. The principal called a meeting with both students' parents and expelled the ninth-grade student. The school also issued a Transfer Certificate (TC) to the student.
The victim's parents have filed a complaint with the police, who have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. An investigation is ongoing.
The incident has prompted protests by student organizations and political parties.
Leaders from the BJP and Congress joined the protests, demanding justice and improved safety measures. "We urge for stringent actions and a safer student environment," said a BJP leader.
The principal confirmed the accused student's expulsion and stated that the school was cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Police have indicated that further actions will be based on the investigation and the formal complaint from the victimās family.
