Hyderabad: Man gags woman at Sultan Shahi, flees after she raises alarm; case registered

This is the second incident in the last one week in the area.
The incident occurred on July 25 when a woman was drying clothes outside her residence in the Sultan Shahi area near Akbar Masjid. A man appeared on the scene and gagged her mouth. However, she raised an alarm prompting the man to flee from the spot. The motive is still unknown.
Locals said this isnāt the first incident where strangers have entered the area and targeted women.
Police have lodged an FIR. āWe have got the image of the man riding a pulsar motorbike. The investigation is on,ā Mogalpura Inspector told NewsMeter.
The cops acted on a complaint filed by Nasreen Khatoon.
What happened?
At about 12:30 pm on July 25, the woman was drying clothes, an unknown person wearing a black t-shirt with light blue trousers gagged her mouth. However, she mustered courage and pushed him away and raised alarm. Sensing trouble, the man fled away from the spot.
However, while trying to save herself, she received injuries on her hands and legs.
Earlier on July 18, her daughter Insha said a stranger tried to gag her mouth too. However, she bit him and as a result, he fled from the spot. She thought that it was a mischievous activity and did not bring to the knowledge of the police.
The woman said the man who misbehaved with her had a whitish complexion with 5.5 ft in height, and had a normal built. She said she can identify him if she sees him again, police said
