Hyderabad Marathon: Check out the traffic diversions before commuting
The event involves Full Marathon &Half Marathon both starting from People’s Plaza in Necklace Road and the 10KM run starts from Hitex NAC main gate, Madhapur.

Hyderabad, December 18: Deputy Commissioner of Cyberabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory in view of the Hyderabad Marathon on Sunday.
Traffic restrictions and diversions will remain in force from 4 am to 12.30 am on different routes.
From 4 am to 11 am, traffic coming from Jubilee Hills via Kavuri Hillsgoing towards Inorbit Mall will be diverted from COD Junction (Fortune Towers) straight via Cyber Towers left turn – IKEA Rotary– Left Turn - Inorbit Mall –IKEA underpass - Bio-Diversity Junction – Right Turn Gachibowli, ORR.
From 4 am to 11 am, traffic coming from Road no:45 towards the cable bridge will be diverted towards Madhapur L&O PS will be diverted via COD Junction (Fortune Towers) straight Cyber Towers left turn – IKEA underpass - Straight - BioDiversity Junction, Gachibowli, ORR.
From 7 am to 8 am, traffic coming from the Kothaguda junction towards Cyber Towers will be diverted towards Rolling Hills – Ikea Flyover – Inorbit Mall – COD – Cyber Towers.
From 4 am to 12 pm, traffic coming from Mehdipatnam and ORR will be diverted from Gachibowli Junction towards Kondapur-Radisson Junction-Botanical Junction-Left Turn- Heritage Junction -Masjid Banda Village via (MasjidBanda T Junction –Right Turn – HCU Depot- Right Turn – towards Lingampally) or (Straight -HCU Depot- Right Turn – towards Lingampally.)
From 4 am to 11:30 am, traffic coming from Gachibowli, ORR Shamshabad, Mehdipatnam, Kondapur will be diverted towards GPRA Quarters Indiranagar-Left turn-Brammakumaries-Gopichand Academy-Left turn-Towards Wipro and Financial District.
From 4 am to 12 pm, traffic coming from the Financial District, Gowlidoddi, Gopanpally Thanda, Q-city towards Gachibowli will be diverted from Wipro Junction- Right turn-Nanakramguda village- Rotary-2-Left turn- Merging into ORR-Gachibowli.
From 4 am to 12 pm, traffic coming from Lingampally, HCU, Masjid Banda T Junction, Gachibowli stadium towards Gachibowli, Kothaguda and Mehdipatnam will be diverted from DLF Junction-Radisson Junction-Left turn- U-turn at Udipi Hotel- ZPHS Gachibowli- Gachibowli Junction - Left turn- Right turn under bridge- Left turn proceed towards Gachibowli, Kothaguda, and Mehdipatnam
From 4 am to 11:30 am, traffic coming from Kondapur, Kothaguda will be diverted from Botanical Junction -Left turn-Heritage Junction - Masjid Banda- HCU depot towards Lingampally.
From 4 am to 11:30 pm, traffic coming from Indira Nagar Colony towards Mehdipatnam will be diverted from GPRA(general pool residential accommodation) Quarters – Gachibowli Fly over-towards Mehdipatnam.
Also, on Sunday from 5 am to 12:30 pm, trucks, lorries, DCM's, RMC, and water tankers will not be allowed on these routes in the limits of Madhapur and Gachibowli traffic Police Stations.
Hyderabad Marathon will be held on Sunday between 5 am and 12:30 pm. The event takes place on various roads in the city starting from People's Plaza, Necklace road up to Gachibowli Stadium for a distance of 42KM. The event involves Full Marathon &Half Marathon both starting from People's Plaza in Necklace Road and the 10KM run starts from Hitex NAC main gate, Madhapur.
