The service provider of the smart storage lockers is TUCKIT. This has been done on demand from the passengers and for their overall convenience.

Lockers are available at seven stations

The TUCKIT smart lockers are immediately operational at the following seven Hyderabad Metro Stations:

- Miyapur

- Ameerpet

- Punjagutta

- LB Nagar

- Uppal

- Parade Ground

- Hi-Tech City

Scan and Store

The facility has been inaugurated at Uppal Metro Station. The lockers are for storage of a variety of personal items, helmets, luggage, backpacks and shopping bags.

The process involves a 'scan and store' experience, which can be done in less than 30 seconds.

Commuters can access the lockers through three simple, digital steps:

- Scan the QR code displayed on the locker panel.

- Select the required locker size based on their item.

- Pay digitally for the chosen duration.

Focus on convenience and security

The partnership marks a significant step in L&TMRHL’s mission to integrate utility-based services and ease last-mile challenges for passengers.

KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, L&TMRHL, highlighted the value of the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with TUCKIT brings a smart, safe and convenient storage solution into our stations, making everyday travel easier for commuters. By integrating secure and easy-to-use lockers, we continue to build modern, passenger-focused environments across Hyderabad Metro.”

Rajesh Amarlal, Founder of TUCKIT, emphasised the strategic placement of the service: “Collaborating with L&TMRHL allows us to bring our ‘Scan & Store’ smart storage solution directly into urban transit spaces. Our goal is to make secure storage accessible, intuitive, and available exactly where commuters need it most.”
