Hyderabad Metro Student Offer: Take 30 trips in a month for the price of 20
Hyderabad Metro Rail so far carried 40 crore passengers since the beginning of its operations in November 2017. Daily passenger numbers are increasing day by day, with over 4.9 lakh passengers using the metro on most working days.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 2 July 2023 7:06 AM GMTHyderabad: L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) announced a student pass offer for the convenience of students. Under the offer, students can pay for 20 trips and avail of 30 trips across all fare zones.
The trip pass validity is for 30 days from the date of purchase. The offer is available for nine months from July 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024. Students form the second largest chunk of metro rail travellers, with about 1.2 lakh daily student passengers.
To avail of the offer, students must be under 25 years of age and must purchase a newly branded smart card. Only one smart card per student will be issued. The offer is available at select metro stations from 11 am to 5 pm on the Red Line ā JNTU College, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Victoria Memorial and Dilsukhnagar, the Green Line ā Narayanguda, and the Blue Line ā Nagole, Parade Grounds, Begumpet and Raidurg.
Students who purchase the student pass will also receive discount coupons from retail brands associated with Hyderabad Metro Rail.
