Hyderabad: An X-ray technician was killed and another injured when they lost control of the motorcycle and jumped off Bio-diversity flyover in Hyderabad.

The impact of the accident was so severe that the duo was thrown from Level 2 of the flyover to Level 1 below.

According to Rayadurgam Inspector Mahesh, the victims were identified as 21-year-old Madhu from Siddipet and 24-year-old Giri from Yadadri.

Hailing from Rayadurgam, both Madhu and Giri were X-ray technicians working at a local hospital.

The incident occurred on Sunday at 9:30 PM when the duo was en route from Rayadurgam to Madhapur. It appears that they were overspeeding and attempted to maneuver through the gap between the speed breakers. Unfortunately, due to the excessive speed and loss of control, they fell from the flyover.

Madhu lost his life on the spot. Despite wearing a helmet, Giri suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby medical facility. As of now, he remains under close observation as medical professionals battle to stabilize his condition.
