Here are the interesting trends regarding Swiggy Instamart sales in 2024:
Lightning Delivery: Hyderabad clocked one of its fastest deliveries this year at just 96 seconds, covering a distance of 1.8 km.
Chips Craze: Hyderabad ordered over 2 crore packets of chips in 2024. If someone ate one packet of chips every single day, it would take them 50,493 years to consume all the packets!
Mango Extravaganza: One Hyderabadi led the mango frenzy by spending close to Rs 35,000 on mangoes in May.
Daily Staples: The city placed over 19 lakh orders for milk, contributing to the whopping Rs 1.54 crore orders for dairy, bread, and eggs.
Hyderabad’s favourites: The top five items ordered by the city were milk, tomatoes, onion (Ulligadda), coriander leaves (Kothameera) and green chilli (Pacchi Mirchi).
Under-ki-Baat: Hyderabad placed over 18,000 orders for underwear and topped it with nearly 2 lakh orders for condoms, including over 1,300 discreet buys through Incognito mode.
Maggi Mania: Hyderabad ordered over 25,00,000 packets of Maggi in 2024. If each packet of Maggi was stacked one on top of the other, it would create a pile almost 25 km high, taller than Mount Everest!
Pearly Whites: Prioritizing oral hygiene, Hyderabad spent over Rs 2.3 crore on toothbrushes in 2024.
We all scream for ice cream: The city spent nearly Rs 31 crores on ice creams alone! With Rs 31 crores, you could buy a private jet with some change left over.
Mirror, mirror on the wall: Hyderabad spent Rs 15 crore on Beauty products in 2024. That's enough to buy 15 luxury cars!

The top purchases from the city include milk, tomato, onion, coriander leaves and green chilli, with a city user spending as much as Rs 5,60,450 on groceries, electronics and everything else they need in 10 mins.
