Hyderabad: Police have busted a flesh trade racket and arrested seven persons including six Bangladeshi nationals.

Police seized five Bangladeshi National ID cards, one Xerox copy of Bangladeshi Passport, four fake Aadhar cards, and 10 cell phones from their possession.

On credible information, the sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force, North Zone team in association with SR Nagar Police arrested two Bangladeshi men and four women.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused had illegally entered India from Bangladesh a few years back. They stayed in Mumbai for few years. They had recently arrived in Hyderabad to start the flesh trade.

The modus operandi of traffickers included luring Bangladeshi women facing financial problems. They were promised jobs in India. However, once the victims arrived in India, the traffickers forced them into prostitution. They provided fake and forged Aadaar cards to conceal their real identity.

Traffickers with the help of local agents shifted Bangladeshi women from one city to another city for the flesh trade. The apprehended accused persons were handed over to SHO, SR Nagar Police Station for further necessary legal action.
