Hyderabad: Actor Ram Charan underwent surgery after he sustained an eye injury during shooting for his upcoming movie, `Peddi', in Hyderabad.

Following the occurrence, actor Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan's father, took to social media to provide a statement regarding the actor’s health and the status of the film’s production.
In his post, he confirmed that Ram Charan is fine and is currently recovering. The surgery was carried out immediately after the injury was sustained on the sets to ensure proper treatment.
Shoot to resume soon
The production team also released an official update to address the discussions surrounding the incident. They clarified that the situation is under control and that there is no cause for concern. The team noted that despite the injury and the subsequent medical intervention, the filming schedule will not face disruptions. Ram Charan is set to resume work and return to the shoot soon.
