Hyderabad: Shamshabad police arrested two students for performing stunts with luxury SUVs in the middle of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) between Pedda Golkonda (Exit No: 15) and Thonudpally village (Exit No:16)
In CCTV footage from February 9, a Fortuner (DL-1 CAF- 2878) can be seen doing donuts (going around in circles using the handbrake) in the middle lane of the five-lane road while a BMW (DL-1-CM-8267) drives to the side after doing the same thing.

The video went viral on social media sites, raising safety worries among the motorists.
A special unit of Shamshabad police traced the cars and arrested the drivers who were identified as Mohammed Obaidullah (25), a resident of Rajendranagar, and Zohair Siddiqui (25), a resident of Malakpet. The luxury cars used for the stunts were also seized.
Speaking to NewsMeter, Shamshabad Inspector of Police K Narender Reddy said that the drivers of the vehicles drove their cars without number plates and also rash and dangerous manner as to endangering human life or the personal safety of others.
A patrolling duty officer K Sairam Goud noticed this and lodged a complaint with the Shamshabad police. A case was filed and traced the suspects near Nampally after reviewing the CCTV footage.The two students were sent to judicial remand, he said.
"The above said vehicles are in police custody and addressed a letter to District Transport Office (DTO), Ranga Reddy District to furnish the ownership particulars, No Objection Certificate (NOC), insurance of said vehicles. We will intensify our vigil on the ORR and other major roads to prevent the youth perform stunts with vehicles. Stern action will be taken if youth found driving recklessly and dangerously," Narender Reddy said.
