Hyderabad: A software engineer was killed and his body burnt for marrying a girl against the wishes of her parents. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Sangareddy. This is the second case of dishonor killing in Hyderabad in the last one month
Identified as Narayan Reddy (25), he was working in a software company in Hyderabad.

KPHB Inspector Kishan Kumar said that a missing report was filed on 30 June. Police later zeroed in on the suspect. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime.
"The arrested man said that Narayan Reddy was murdered on the night of 27 June and his body was burnt at Jinnaram Mandal of Sangareddy district. According to him, three people were involved in the crime," said KPHB Inspector Kishan Kumar.
Inspector Kishan Kumar said that the girl's parents had opposed the marriage and therefore they decided to eliminate him. He said the police were investigating the girl's relatives' role in the murder.
