Hyderabad: A student was killed when his car crashed into a flyover at Rayadurgam near Malkam Cheruvu.
Identified as 19-year-old Charan, he was driving the car at high speed. The incident occurred when his car crashed into the flyover while descending from Nandi Hills at full speed.
Charan was pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at ICFAI University. Witnesses reported that Swift Dzire was extensively damaged due to the impact of the crash. It took nearly 2 hours to remove the body from the car, police said.
Preliminary investigations suggest that speeding resulted in the crash. According to police, Charan was driving to his from BNR Hills when the incident occurred.
Police have shifted Charan's body to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem. A case has been registered at Raidurgam police station, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the accident.
