Hyderabad: Swiggy delivery boy jumps off third floor to escape dog attack; injured

Hyderabad: A Swiggy food delivery suffered serious injuries when he jumped off the third floor after a pet dog started barking at him at Banjara Hills apartment.
According to the police, Mohammad Rizwan (23), a resident of Sriramnagar in Yusufguda, has been a Swiggy delivery boy for three years.
On Wednesday night, Rizwan went to the third floor of the Lumbini Rock Castle apartment at Road No. 6 of Banjara Hills to deliver a parcel. When he knocked at the door, a German shepherd dog barked at him. Out of fear, Rizwan jumped from the third floor of the apartment. Flat owner Shobana saw the delivery boy was seriously injured and called an ambulance. Later the boy was shifted to NIMS Hospital for treatment.
Victim's brother, Mohammad Khaja, lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills Police on Thursday night. He alleged that due to the negligence of the flat owner, his brother was seriously injured.
The case is being investigated.
