Hyderabad to host 6 matches of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) from March 1-3
These matches will be for free to 10,000 college students of Hyderabad and Telangana

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Arshanapally Jagan Mohan Rao announced that Hyderabad is going to host the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL).
He said while the first phase matches of the league are being held in Sharjah, the second phase matches will be held from March 1-3 in Hyderabad. He said that Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and other film celebrities and stars of the country are coming to Hyderabad to play in this league.
Free for 10,000 college students
Jagan Mohan Rao said that CCL organisers have agreed to show these matches for free to college students of Hyderabad and Telangana. With this, 10,000 college ā intermediate, UG, PG, engineering, and medical students ā will be allowed into the stadium free of cost, he added.
Principals of interested colleges are advised to email the HCA at hca.ccl2024@gmail.com with the number and names of students from their educational institutions attending the matches. He said that their staff would reply to them after scrutiny and asked the students to come with their ID cards.
Akkineni Akhil will captain Tollywood team
Jagan Mohan Rao said that a total of six matches will be held in Hyderabad; they are conducting six matches in three days with two matches per day.
He said that the Tollywood cricket team Telugu Warriors will be played under the captaincy of hero Akkineni Akhil. Mumbai Heroes, Kerala Strikers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers, Chennai Rhinos, Karnataka Bulldozers and Punjab De Sher teams will compete. Jagan Mohan Rao said that celebrities from all over the country will play for each team.
