āAn uprooted tree near JP Nagar in Miyapur caused further delays, with the Miyapur Traffic Police and Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams of GHMC working to ensure a smooth flow of traffic,ā said Sai Kiran, a daily commuter.

Office-goers faced significant difficulties reaching their destinations during the morning hours.
Many parents chose not to send their children to school due to the bad weather conditions, resulting in nearly half-strength attendance at some private schools. Parents who sent their children anxiously awaited their return, hoping the government would declare a holiday if the situation persisted into Monday.
Eyes on lake levels
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials remained on alert, deploying monsoon emergency teams to clear water-logging points on arterial roads.
Hyderabadās major lake, Hussain Sagar, witnessed substantial inflows of 1,517 cusecs and outflows of 998 cusecs by 6 pm, with the water level at 513.23 meters, just below the Full Tank Level (FTL) of 513.41 meters.
