Hyderabad: West Zone Task Force police raided TOS Pub in Banjara Hills and arrested 140 people, including 42 women. The raid was conducted after receiving information about illegal activities including obscene dance performances.
Police arrested the pubās managers, cashier, and DJ operator, who were taken to the Banjara Hills police station for further investigation.
According to police, the pub had allegedly hired women from different states to engage in indecent behavior to entice male customers and generate profits.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Venkata Ramana and night duty officer, Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar, arrived at the scene and inspected the establishment. He said additional details would be shared soon.
Police said the crackdown was part of an ongoing effort to curb illegal activities and maintain order in nightlife establishments across the city.
Further investigation is underway.
