Hyderabad: Traffic advisory on counting centres, parking details

Hyderabad: In view of the last step of the 2024 General Elections, the following places are earmarked for counting votes on June 4. There would be moderate traffic congestion on the roads leading to the counting centres and the traffic will be diverted on a need basis as per the situation.

In Musheerabad Assembly Constituency (AC), AV College in Domalguda will be the counting centre. The parking will be at the Bharat Scouts and Guide School and Govt Physical Education College in Domalguda.

In Chandrayangutta AC, Nizam College in Basheerbagh will be the counting centre. Parking will be at Nizam College Ground No 4 and Nizam College Inside Gate No 2.

In Amberpet AC, Raja Bahadur Venkatarama Reddy College for Women, (GF & Open Ground) in Narayanaguda will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the YMCA Ground.

In Malakpet AC, the GHMC Indoor Stadium in Amberpet will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the GHMC Ground.

In Sanathnagar AC, OU College of Commerce & Business Management, beside Law College, OU Campus in Tarnaka will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the open place beside MBA College.

In Secunderabad AC, PG Rami Reddy Centre for Distance Education, OU will be the counting centre.

In Goshamahal AC, Koti Women’s College (Auditorium) in Koti will be the counting centre. Parking will be at Women’s College Ground.

In Charminar AC, Kamala Nehru Polytechnic, Exhibition Grounds at MJ Market will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the Exhibition Ground beside the Admin office.

In Yakuthpura AC, Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Maha Vidyalaya, Exhibition Grounds at MJ Market will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the Bheem Singh Rao Bada Parking Area.

In Karwan AC, Govt Polytechnic College at Masab Tank will be the counting centre. The parking is behind the college.

In Nampally AC, JNTU College of Fine Arts at Masab Tank will be the counting centre. Parking will be at the Hockey Ground.

In Bahadurpura AC, Aurora Legal Science Academy in Bandlaguda will be the counting centre.

In Secunderabad AC, CSIIT, and Wesley College Premises will be the counting centre.

Polling officials and others coming from counting centres are requested to park their vehicles in the earmarked places only. Traffic diversions in the area will be intimated through Hyderabad Traffic Police's Twitter and Facebook accounts, Traffic Live App and through FM Radio.

The public is requested to take note of counting centres and plan their commute accordingly.
