Hyderabad: Traffic police issues advisory in view of swearing-in-ceremony of Justice Hima Kohli on Thursday

The City Traffic Police have issued an advisory on January 6 in view of the swearing-in-ceremony of Justice Hima Kohli, Chief Justice of High Court of Telangana at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad on January 7 at 11.30 am.

Hyderabad: The City Traffic Police have issued an advisory on January 6 in view of the swearing-in-ceremony of Justice Hima Kohli, Chief Justice of High Court of Telangana at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad on January 7 at 11.30 am.

The traffic police said that the Raj Bhavan road from Monappa Island (Rajiv Gandhi Statue) to VV Statue Junction will witness heavy traffic.

The traffic congestion is expected from 10 am to 1 pm. The traffic police added that on need basis, the traffic will be diverted or stopped at Monappa Island and VV Statue Junction, Panjagutta – Raj Bhavan Quarters Road (Metro Residency) will be closed for general traffic on both sides during this period.

The traffic police have earmarked the following places for parking of vehicles at Raj Bhavan:

  1. Gate No-III to Administrative Block: Judges, MsP., MsLA. and MsLC Vehicles.
  2. Dilkusha Guest House: Media Vehicles
  3. MMTS Parking lot: Other VIP Vehicles & Government Dignitary vehicles
  4. Metro Residency to NASR School: Single line parking
  5. Lake View to V.V Statue Junction (Opposite lane of Lake View Guest House): Single line parking

The traffic police requested that the citizens to take alternate routes to their destinations and avoid the Raj Bhavan road during the specified timings and co-operate with traffic police.
