Hyderabad: TSSPDCL announces power cuts for maintenance purposes from Jan 17 to Feb 10

Hyderabad: Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) has announced scheduled power cuts in Hyderabad to face high demand during the ensuing summer months.

Keeping in view the power requirements of the consumers, the field-level staff has been directed to complete the maintenance work within 15 minutes to 2 hours from tomorrow January 17, 2024, to February 10, 2024 (excluding Sundays and festival days).

TSSPDCL chairman and managing director Musharraf Farooqui along with Director (Operation) J Srinivasa Reddy, Greater Hyderabad CGM, section engineers prepared the schedule for maintenance and repair works of power lines and substations.

These maintenance works will be carried out in rotation method in various sub-stations in Greater Hyderabad limits. “As it is very important to undertake maintenance and repair work given the high demand for electricity in the coming summer, electricity consumers in the area where maintenance works are to be undertaken are requested to cooperate with the Electricity Department,” the officials said.

The complete maintenance schedule for every day has been made available for the convenience of the consumers on the company's website and mobile app.
