Hyderabad: TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar condemned the attack on two bus conductors in Hyderabad.

This follows a video in which a woman could be seen assaulting and kicking a bus conductor.

The incident happened under Hayat Nagar depot-1 limits. Since it was the first trip of the day, the conductor pleaded that she did not have change. However, the woman went berserk and assaulted the conductor. Later she assaulted another.

Later, RTC officials filed a case at LB Nagar police station. Police have launched an inquiry.

The viral video shows a woman allegedly under the influence of alcohol shouting, abusing, and physically attacking the conductor of Hayat Nagar Bus Depot. Despite efforts from co-passengers and another female conductor, she continued to assault them.

The woman caused a disturbance for more than 20 minutes. She took the photographs of the conductors and threatened to kill them.

"The management of TSRTC has made it clear that such incidents against staff performing their duties efficiently with commitment will not be ignored. Legal action will be taken against those interfering with the duties of TSRTC staff and engaging in attacks. TSRTC staff are known for their patience and dedication in their duties," Sajjanar wrote on X.
