Hyderabad: An auto-rickshaw driver allegedly raped a 29-year-old woman at a school near Masjid Banda.
On the intervening night of October 14 and 15, the woman boarded an auto-rickshaw at Lingampally after returning from Chennai.
The auto driver took her to a school near Masjid Banda and raped her. The victim screamed and called for help. The accused also tried to strangulate her. However, once he saw a passerby, he ran away. He decamped with her handbag which contained cash, I'd card, etc. The auto-rickshaw was without a number plate.
