HYDRAA inspects occupation on govt land in Gajularamaram, encroachments on Nallagandla Lake

Hyderabad: HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath on Thursday inspected government lands in Gajularamaram, Quthbullapur mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Thursday.

The commissioner conducted a field visit in the wake of complaints that quarry leases in Gajularamaram village have expired but are being occupied without vacating it.

During his visit, Ranganath also inspected the 400 acres of land belonging to the State Finance Corporation and directed the officials concerned to ensure that the government land here is not encroached upon. He advised them to arrange a meeting next week with those who have taken 78 acres of land on lease.




Nallagandla Lake inspection

Later, Ranganath proceeded to Nallagandla Lake in Serilingampally Mandal upon receiving complaints of encroachments on the nala. He ordered the Vertex construction company to remove the soil that had been dumped there to ensure that the area of the nala did not decrease.




In return, Vertex construction company representatives have assured Rangnath that construction would be carried out without disturbing the nala area and the buffer zone. After that, he also investigated a complaint regarding the encroachment of Mellakunta in the Gopanpally village.

At Rajendranagar, he inspected Mamasani Kunta in Puppalaguda following a series of complaints received regarding the boundaries of the lake after survey numbers were reviewed with officials at the field level.
