IMD forecasts dry weather across Telangana till Jan 15
The conditions of mist may temporarily reduce visibility in isolated pockets but pose no significant risk

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has forecast dry weather conditions across Telangana for the coming week.
Misty or hazy conditions are expected during the morning hours at isolated pockets over the State. Minimum temperatures are projected to remain normal for the next three days and then dip by 2°C to 3°C. The conditions of mist may temporarily reduce visibility in isolated pockets but pose no significant risk.
T Balaji, popularly known as Telangana Weatherman, said, “Telangana will experience predominantly dry weather in the upcoming days with no significant warnings issued. Mist or haze may occur during early mornings in isolated locations.”
Detailed weather forecast
• Day 1 (Jan 8 - Jan 9): Dry weather with mist or haze likely in the morning. No warnings issued.
• Day 2 (Jan 9 - Jan 10): Dry weather is likely to continue with no weather warnings.
• Day 3 (Jan 10 - Jan 11): Similar dry conditions are expected. No warnings issued.
• Days 4 to 7 (Jan 11 - Jan 15): Dry weather will persist across Telangana, and no adverse weather warnings are in place.
Rainfall and temperature trends
The IMD noted that the State is experiencing easterly winds at lower atmospheric levels. Rainfall activity remains negligible, with no significant precipitation forecast during this period. Minimum temperatures are expected to normalise initially and drop slightly thereafter.
The IMD has advised residents to expect misty or hazy conditions in some areas during early mornings.
