IMD forecasts partly cloudy skies in Hyderabad: monsoon expected to arrive on June 6

Hyderabad: India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has forecast that dry weather will prevail across Telangana until May 31.

For Hyderabad, the weather department predicted partly cloudy skies during this period.

No Weather Warnings Issued

The IMD Hyderabad has not issued any weather warnings for the upcoming days. However, the forecast indicates that light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in various districts, including Hyderabad.

Rising temperatures across Telangana

Temperatures in several districts of Telangana have surged past 46 degree Celsius, according to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

In Jagtial and Peddapalli, the maximum temperature has crossed 46 degree Celsius.

Additionally, many districts have recorded temperatures exceeding the warning threshold of 45 degrees Celsius. These districts include Peddapalli, Adilabad, Mancherial, and Jagtial.

In Hyderabad, the highest maximum temperature recorded was 42.6 degrees Celsius in the Asifnagar area.

Monsoon Arrival Expected After June 6

Looking ahead, the IMD has forecasted that the monsoon is likely to arrive in Telangana, including Hyderabad, after June 6. This anticipated change in weather conditions is expected to bring relief from the prevailing heat.

For now, residents are advised to take necessary precautions against the heat and stay updated with the latest weather forecasts.
