India @75: 19 TS officials honored with medals for outstanding services

Telangana: Nineteen Telangana officials have been honored with medals for their outstanding services to the nation. Mahesh Bhagwat, Commissioner, Rachakonda Police, and Devender Singh, SP Counter Intelligence Cell, Telangana, have been awarded the prestigious President's Police Medal (PPM) for Distinguished services.

Twelve others including AR Srinivas, Additional CP (Crimes & SIT) Hyderabad city, have been awarded Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Services. P Satyanarayana, Additional SP CID, P Srinivas, Addl SP SIB, S Srinivas Rao, ACP Hyderabad city, SV Ramana Moorthy, DSP ACB Khammam, Ch Vasudeva Reddy, DSP ISW, G Guru Raghavendra, DSP TS police academy, Ch Rajamouli, SI Ramagundam, K Sreenivasu, ASI Rachakonda, J Neelam Reddy, ARSI Kamareddy, S Sudhakar, ARSI TSSP Mamnoor Battalion, Warangal and U Srinivas, Head Constable, Intelligence, Karimnagar have also been awarded the PM.

Correctional Service Medal for Meritorious Service has been awarded to J. Veera Swamy, Chief Head Warder, and Valdasu Joseph, Head Warder from TS Prisons Department.

Leading firemen Venkateswara Rao Yerragunta and Fareed Shaikh of the Telangana Fire services have been awarded the Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service.

Home Guards, Challa Ashok Reddy, Chanda Suresh, and Md. Abdul Shukur Baig, have been awarded the Home Guards & Civil Defence Medal For Meritorious Service.
