Infosys techie found dead at home in Patancheru, suicide suspected
A young techie working for Infosys was found dead at his home in Patancheru on the city outskirts on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: A young techie working for Infosys was found dead at his home in Patancheru on the city outskirts on Tuesday.
It is suspected that the victim Ravi Kumar ended his life after losing money in online betting. A case has been registered at Patancheru police station.
Police said that Ravi Kumar was working for Infosys for the past few years. He was posted at the Bengaluru site. However, due to the Covid pandemic, he was working from home since May.
On Tuesday morning his parents went out for some work. They assumed that Ravi was working from home. When they returned, they found him hanging.
Prima facie police suspect that he was into online betting and had wagered huge amounts. As he lost the money, he slipped into depression. Further investigation is in progress, said police. His mobile phone has been seized for forensic examination.
