Journalist killed in road accident in Begumpet

Hyderabad: A journalist died in a road accident here under Begumpet police station limits on Friday. The victim was identified as O. Madhusudan.

According to the police, a lorry collided with a motorbike near the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet. The victim who was traveling on the two-wheeler died on the spot. The police immediately rushed to the spot and sent the body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.

Madhusudan was an online sub-editor at Andhra Jyothi. The incident took place while he was on his way to the office.

The lorry involved in the accident fled the spot but the police have registered a case and launched an investigation. They have identified the lorry based on CCTV footage.
