Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills by-election is a prestige issue between the ruling Congress Party and the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
In the wake of the elections to be announced after Diwali, along with the Bihar elections, the Election Commission of India has come out with the numbers of 3,99,000 total number of eligible voters in the constituency.
The revised rolls, which were updated with reference to July 1, show a substantial electorate profile:
- Total Voters: 3,99,000
- Male Voters: 2,07,382
- Female Voters: 1,91,593
- Third-gender Voters: 25
The constituency maintains a gender ratio of 924 women per 1,000 men.

Key electorate statistics
The final roll includes several specific voter demographics:
- New Voters (18–19 Age Group): 6,106
- Senior Citizens (Above 80): 2,613
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 1,891
- Overseas Voters: 95
Among the PwD voters, 519 are visually impaired, 667 have locomotive disabilities and 311 are speech or hearing impaired.
Increase in number of voters
The total number of voters increased from the draft rolls, which had listed 3,92,669 voters when released on September 2.
The final tally of 3,98,982 was reached after the inclusion of 6,976 new names and the deletion of 663 names. Including service voters, the total electorate now stands at exactly 3,99,000.
407 polling stations
CEO Sudharshan Reddy confirmed that polling for the bye-election will take place across 407 polling stations established in 139 different locations within the Jubilee Hills constituency.
