Komatireddy Venkat Reddy signs off on nine infra projects as Roads and Buildings minister

Hyderabad: A day after portfolios of the state ministers were allocated in the new Congress government in Telangana, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy took charge as minister for Roads and Buildings and Cinematography on Sunday.

On the first day, the minister signed on nine project files related to his ministry.

Some of the projects include:

1. Four laning of Nalgonda-Mushampally-Dharmapuram road in Nalgonda district with Rs 100 crores.

2. Strengthening of Lingampally-Dudyal Road in Vikarabad district with Rs 4.15 crores.

3. Upgradation of 14 state roads as National Highways including:

- Mallepally Nalgonda.

- Regional Ring Road (RRR) South of Choutuppal-Amangal-Shadnagar-Sangareddy.

4. Six laning of Hyderabad Vijayawada Highway.

5. Improvement of Nalgonda Town limits as part of balance works of Nakrekal-Nagarjunasagar Road.

6. Four laning of Hyderbad-Kalwakurthy Section of NH-765.

7. Increase in the allocation of the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) budget to Telangana State.

During a meeting with the officials, he directed the team to complete road repairs within a month.
