Hyderabad: Telangana minister of industries K.T Rama Rao held a meeting with Bernard Tabary, the CEO of Keolis Group, on Saturday.

Keolis is one of the world leaders in shared mobility. Keolis Hyderabad, a subsidiary of the Keolis Group, is the operations and maintenance partner for Hyderabad Metro.

"Keolis operates public networks on behalf of 300 organising authorities and is present in 16 countries and on 5 continents," tweeted KTR.

The world leader in automatic metro and tramways, the Group is also number one in medical transport and global parking contracts in France. Each year, more than three billion travellers use their shared mobility services.

Earlier, in his keynote address at the Ambition India Business Forum in Paris, KTR highlighted the investor-friendly policies and industrial ecosystem in the state and invited French businessmen to explore the investment opportunities in Telangana.


Besides, the government of Telangana entered into an MoU with Bordeaux Metropole in the presence of the minister. The MoU was signed in the conference hall of the historic Luxembourg palace in Paris which houses the French Senate. The MoU signed is in continuation with the Cooperation Agreement initiated in 2015 and both the parties will work together to develop joint projects in line with the transition to a sustainable city.


The Telangana delegation also met Philippe Orliange, Director, Asia and the Middle East, French Development Agency; Paul Alary, CEO of Safran Engines and Alexander Ziegler, former Ambassador of France to India; the top management team of Servier; Plug and Play Tech Center among others. The world's largest leading innovation platform, Plug and Play Tech Centre also announced their plan of launching their center in Hyderabad.
