Lake Front Park at Jalavihar opens on October 1; offers green space for walkers, gatherings

On Saturday, T Srinivas Yadav, the minister of Cinematography and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, inaugurated the park amid a grand function. From October 1, the park will open its gates to the public with a nominal ticket fee required for entry.

For those who cherish the calm of early morning walks, the park opens its gates from 5 am to 9 am. Morning walkers can embrace the tranquillity of the space for a nominal monthly fee of Rs 100, making it an affordable and refreshing way to kickstart the day.

The Lake Front Park is also ideal for family events and small gatherings. Families can host birthdays, cultural events, and more, with a capacity of up to 100 attendees. The cost for a day’s use of this charming space is Rs 11,000, plus applicable taxes, ensuring that your special occasions are celebrated in style.

The park will also have eating options for visitors including outlets of the city’s famous eateries such as Karachi Bakery. Visitors can relish a variety of culinary delights from these outlets from 9 am to 11 pm. This ensures that visitors can indulge in a range of delectable treats while enjoying their time at the park.
