Land dispute between Vertex Real Estate and Chaitanya Reddy entirely private: HYDRAA

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has reiterated that it will not interfere in disputes involving private properties but will take firm action against encroachments on government lands, lakes, parks, and public utility spaces.

Vertex–Chaitanya Reddy dispute is private

Clarifying on a controversy in Tukkuguda municipality, HYDRAA said the land dispute between Vertex Real Estate and Chaitanya Reddy is entirely private in nature.

The agency, after receiving a complaint, called both parties for a transparent inquiry and made it clear that HYDRA would not intervene in ownership quarrels between individuals.

Encroachments on lakes are acted upon

HYDRAA underlined that whenever Vertex attempted to encroach on public resources, strict action was taken. Illegal constructions at Sooram Lake were demolished, while soil dumping at Kottakunta Lake was treated as a serious violation. Two separate cases have been registered against the company.

Allegations by Naresh rejected

The agency strongly condemned remarks by Sunkari Naresh, who was earlier removed from the High Court Bar Council but secured a technical stay. HYDRA said its charges were fabricated and aimed at falsely linking private disputes to its operations.

Complaint of extortion attempt

Chaitanya Reddy has also complained that Naresh, along with middlemen, demanded Rs 50 lakh from her. HYDRAA confronted the accused individuals and, based on preliminary findings, filed a case at Pahadishareef Police Station for deeper investigation.

Caution to citizens

HYDRAA appealed to the public not to fall prey to middlemen’s false claims and assured that the agency is committed to transparency. It stressed that ongoing developments will bring out the facts and that the people should be vigilant against misinformation.
