Hyderabad: Hyderabad is preparing for a three-day spell of rainfall, as per the forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The city can expect overcast skies and precipitation from November 22, 23, and 24. The morning hours from Wednesday to Friday are expected to be hazy, accentuating the winter setting of the cityās weather.
All six zones in Hyderabad, including Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally are poised to witness light rainfall, according to IMD predictions.
The Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) report aligns with this forecast, anticipating light to moderate rainfall at isolated areas in the Telangana region.
Temperature projections reveal a minimum range of 18-20 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to hover between 30-32 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad.
The monsoon season in Telangana has been notably wet, surpassing average rainfall figures. As per the TSDPS report, Telangana has received an average rainfall of 843.3 mm, exceeding the normal figure of 725.1 mm. Hyderabad has also experienced an average rainfall of 731.1 mm, surpassing the typical measurement of 601.1 mm.
The weather patterns align with a wetter-than-usual monsoon season, contributing to a notable excess in both Telangana and Hyderabadās average rainfall.
