List of valid ID cards for GHMC poll date
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has released a list of Identity cards which will be valid for the polling for the GHMC elections on 1 December.

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has released a list of Identity cards which will be valid for the polling for the GHMC elections on 1 December.
The list of the valid ID cards included Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence, Ration card, SC/ST/BC certificates, Freedom Fighter ID, Arms Licences, and Certificate of Physical handicap.
Other ID cards included Service Identity Cards with photographs, which are issued to employees of state and central governments, public sector undertakings, local bodies or public limited companies, Passbooks with photographs issued by a public sector bank, PAN, SMart Cards issued by the RGI under the scheme of National Population Register, MNREGA Job Card, Health Insurance Smart Card Issued Under the Ministry of Labour, Pension Document with photograph such as Ex-serviceman's pension book/Pension Payment Orders, Identity Cards with photographs issued by the Secretariat of the Legislative Assembly/Legislative Council to MLAs/MLCs, Identity Cards with photographs issued by the Secretariat of the Loksabha/Rajyasabha to Member of Parliament and Pattadar Passbook.
The SEC also clarified that the photo voter slip will not be considered as an alternative identification document.
