Hyderabad: Three persons suffered burn injuries after an LPG cylinder exploded at Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar early on Thursday.
According to the police, the incident happened at a house in Subash Nagar in Balkampet under SR Nagar police station limits. The injured persons were identified as Shiva Shankar, Nagaraju, and Anusha.
The police said they are not sure how the accident occurred. The occupants informed the police that there was a sudden sound followed by a fire. Four families stay in the rented building.
Shiva Shankar sustained around 40% burns while the remaining two had minor injuries. The police said a case has been booked and an investigation is underway.
