Hyderabad: A 31-year-old man tried to climb the walls of the African lion moat area at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. He was caught by the zoo staff and handed over to the Bahadurpura police station. The man has been identified as 31-year-old G. Sai Kumar.
The curator of the Nehru Zoological Park said the man was precariously perched on the boulders around the African lion moat area where the lions are released in the exhibited enclosure which is a prohibited area. "He was rescued and caught by the zoo staff and handed over to the Bahadurpura police station. A complaint has been lodged," the curator added.
