Man strangles wife to death for aborting child at Moosapet
A 24-year-old woman was killed by her husband for allegedly aborting her child in Moosapet on Sunday night.

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old woman was killed by her husband for allegedly aborting her child in Moosapet on Sunday night.
Identified as Manasa of Darpally in Nizamabad district, she had married E Gangadhar (27) from Jagadgirigutta on November 20 last year.
The couple was putting up at Moosapet under Sanathnagar police station limits.
A few months after marriage, Gangadhar allegedly started harassing his wife. Unable to bear the harassment, she lodged a domestic violence complaint. However, the dispute was resolved by the elders and the couple started living together again.
On Sunday night, an argument took place between the couple when Gangadhar Manasa told him about the abortion. "Gangadhar lost his temper. In a fit of rage, Gangadhar throttled the woman to death," Sanathnagar police said.
Police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary. A case has been registered against Gangadhar. Police said efforts are on to nab the accused.
