Man welcomes wife’s promotion as head constable with teen maar, heartwarming video goes viral

Hyderabad: In a heartwarming grand celebration, the recent promotion of woman constable Kampa Deena to head constable was marked by a touching welcome organised by her affectionate husband. In a surprise for Deena, on July 1, the husband led a parade of lively celebrations that even featured a jovial and energetic teen maar band at Erragadda in Prem Nagar where the couple stay.

The video of the dance and song for Deena quickly went viral, winning many hearts on social media and amassing over one million views on Instagram.

Deena, who has been diligently serving in the police force, recently completed her 45-day training at the Karimnagar Police Training Centre before returning home. Her dedication and commitment to her duty were truly commendable, even though it meant temporarily leaving behind her 18-month-old child, Asher, who was still breastfeeding, during the training period.

Deena is currently assigned to the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station. Her husband, Ronal Basil, is a civil engineer, is proud of Deena’s career in law enforcement and is happy to contribute to her growth in any way possible.
