Mee Ticket app: One-stop app for booking metro/bus rides, temple darshan and more in Telangana

Hyderabad: Now, it is possible to book tickets for the Hyderabad metro rail and buses along with entry into parks and temples for tourists with just one app.
Minister for ITE&C and Industries D Sridhar Babu launched the mobile app āMee Ticketā on Thursday. The app has been designed to be a one-stop mobile app for booking any ticket for public places in the State of Telangana.
Mee Ticket is an initiative of the Information Technology, Electronics. and Communications Department to make a cutting-edge mobile application designed to simplify ticketing for various services in Hyderabad. The application aims to provide citizens and tourists with a seamless, cashless and convenient ticketing experience.
Tickets for GHMC community halls and sports complexes available on app
Through Mee Ticket, people can book tickets for Metro Rail, TGRTC, entry tickets for about 130 public parks/forest urban parks /GHMC parks/HMDA parks/municipal parks, and the zoo and botanical garden.
People can also book darshan and seva tickets for 15 major temples in the State. Further, close to 54 tourist locations like boating tickets can be booked using the Mee Ticket application. Further, booking to GHMC community halls and sports complexes is available on the app.

ā¢ The ticket will be generated in the form of a QR code, which can be verified by the conductor/gatekeeper using a mobile application
ā¢ The government will get real-time updates on tickets sold which will increase transparency.
How does the Mee Ticket app work?
Every location will have a unique QR code, which the person can scan using the Mee Ticket app for booking tickets.
Details like the number and type of tickets etc. will be provided. The payment can be made using UPI applications like GPay, PhonePe etc. A QR code-based ticket will be generated in the mobile app which can be verified by the ticket conductor/gatekeeper for entry.
