Hyderabad: The timings of the Hyderabad Metro Rail service will be rescheduled from 6 September, L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd (LTMRHL) said here on Sunday. The first train will start at 7 am and the last train will leave at 10:15 pm (from respective stations) reaching all terminating stations around 11.15 pm, with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
"For everyone's safety, passengers are advised to strictly follow the COVID-19 safety guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks, regular hand sanitization, and thermal screening, among others. Passengers are requested to cooperate with security personnel and staff of Hyderabad Metro Rail in their efforts towards keeping metro journey safe," said LTMRHL spokesperson on Sunday.
On 19 June 19, while Telangana was preparing to lift the COVID-19 lockdown in the state the next day, the HMR service had announced that their metro services will operate from 7 am (first train) to 9 pm (last train) from respective stations from 21 June in Hyderabad.
