A total of 40 contestants will compete in the finals at Hall 4 of Hyderabad’s Hitex Exhibition Centre, a venue specially prepared for the international pageant. The selection process for the finalists is currently underway.
Fast-tracked contestants announced
So far, 14 contestants have secured their spots in the quarterfinals through various competitions conducted over the past few weeks. These include:
- 1 winner from the Sports Challenge
- 1 winner from the Talent Challenge
- 4 winners from the Head-to-Head Challenge
- 4 winners from the Top Model competition

This leaves 26 more spots in the top 40 to be filled. The Miss World Organisation confirmed that these selections will be made by judges, with representation from the Americas-Caribbean, Africa, Europe and Asia-Oceania regions.
How does the selection process take place?
Each continent will ultimately contribute 10 contestants to the top 40 lineup.
From this pool, the top 20 will be selected—five from each continent. The process will continue with the selection of the top 8, narrowed down to two from each region.
The final stage of the competition will feature one contestant from each continent—a total of four finalists. One will be crowned Miss World 2025, while the remaining three will be named first, second, and third runners-up.
Indonesia and Wales score multiple wins
Indonesia and Wales have each emerged victorious in two different competition segments, further boosting their visibility ahead of the finals. Details on which specific segments were won have not been disclosed by the organisers.
3,500 guests expected
An estimated 3,500 guests are expected to attend the finale at Hitex. The newly constructed Hall 4 will host the event, with full-capacity attendance anticipated.
According to police sources, security protocols are being strengthened, and all arrangements have been reviewed by the Cyber Police, Traffic Department, and Telangana Tourism Department in coordination with event organisers.
Final stages underway
With only 12 contestants officially named so far and 28 more spots to be finalised, the coming days will be crucial in shaping the final list. The remaining selections, determined by regional judging panels, are expected to be announced shortly.
The finale marks the culmination of a month-long event that has brought together contestants from over 100 countries, showcasing cultural exchange, talent, and purpose-driven initiatives. All eyes are now on Hyderabad as it prepares to host one of the biggest nights in global pageantry.
