A 24-year-old fitness trainer ended his life after losing job at Kacheguda in Hyderabad on Monday.

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old fitness trainer ended his life after losing job at Kacheguda in Hyderabad on Monday.
R Manikanta took the extreme step at his home. His family members rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival. Kacheguda police registered a case and started an investigation.
According to police, Manikanta was residing with his family at Barkatpura. He was earlier working as a trainer at a private gym in Kachiguda.
Due to the COVID pandemic, he lost his job a few months ago. Since then, he was not able to find a job and was facing financial difficulties.
He had been looking for suitable job opportunities and was hoping to start work soon. But due to the second wave and the lockdown, his hopes were dashed to the ground and he slipped into depression.
A case has been registered and the reasons behind the suicide are being probed, said police.
