Mushtarika Majlis-e-Amal meet: Take note of these traffic diversions for 18 June

Hyderabad: Moderate traffic congestion is expected on Darussalam Road from 6 p.m to 11 p.m on 18 June in view of the public meeting (Jalsa Azmat-e-Mustafa) organised by Mushtarika Majlis-e-Amal (United Action forum) at Deccan College grounds in Darussalam, Hyderabad.

The city traffic police have requested the public to avoid the stretch from Goshamahal to Darussalam, Ekminar to Darussalam, and Sitarambagh to Darussalam. Traffic will be stopped or diverted at the following locations between 6 p.m and 11 p.m:

· The general traffic coming from M.J market intending to proceed towards Seeta Ram Bagh, Mallepally will not be allowed towards Darussalam and will be diverted at Alaska towards M.J bridge. They may reach their destination via M.J bridge, Jummerath Bazar, Gandhi statue, right turn, Mangalhat market, Boiguda Kaman, left turn towards Seeta Ram Bagh and Mallepally.

· The general traffic coming from Begumbazar Chatri, Feelkhana intending to proceed towards Mallepally will not be allowed towards Darussalam, and it will be diverted at Alaska towards Malakunta. They may reach their destination via Malakunta, left turn, Gandhi Bhavan, Ekminar, Yousufain Dargah, Nampally Area Hospital, and Vijaynagar Colony.

· Buses, heavy vehicles, and lorries coming from City College and Puranapool intending to proceed towards Mallepally will not be allowed towards Darussalam, and they will be diverted at M.J bridge towards Afzalgunj or Puranapool.

· The general traffic coming from Mallepally and Bhoiguda Kaman proceeding towards Alaska will not be allowed towards Darussalam, and it will be diverted at Aghapura towards Gode-ki-Khabar or Charkandil Road.

· The general traffic coming from Nampally will not be allowed towards Darussalam, and it will be diverted at Ek-Minar towards Taj Island/Yousufain Dargah.

· Buses, heavy vehicles, and lorries coming from Mehdipatnam will not be allowed towards Darussalam, and they will be diverted at Mallepally crossroads towards Vijaynagar Colony. They may reach their destination via Vijaynagar Colony, Nampally Area Hospital, Yousufain Dargah, Ekminar Masjid, Tajisland, Gandhi Bhavan.

People have been requested to take note of the diversions and take alternate routes to reach their destinations. The diversions/closures of roads will be removed/opened after the conclusion of the programme, the traffic police said.
