Musical fountain in Mir Alam tank to entertain public from 19 April
Eight tall jets and one central jet are also installed with the water fountain with a height of 15-20 metres

Hyderabad: A multimedia musical fountain will be opened at Mir Alam tank along the national highway to Bangalore on 19 April. The project, completed at a cost of Rs. 2.55 crore, is expected to be an evening entertainment for the people of Hyderabad.
The musical fountain is 40 metres in length and rises up to 10-12 metres duly synchronizing with music and lighting to create a dancing effect. The show is planned for 15 minutes. There will be two shows every evening. Eight tall jets and one central jet are also installed with the water fountain with a height of 15-20 metres. Multi-colour RGBW lights are installed at the fountain. The entire system is also integrated with a software and music system.
The facility is expected to attract people, especially tourists visiting the Nehru Zoological Park and also the people living in the Old City.
